01Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using CA Practice OS (the “Service”), the firm or individual signing up (“you”) agrees to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
02The Service
CA Practice OS is a practice-management platform for chartered accountants: client records, compliance tracking, tasks, documents and billing. It supports your professional work but does not replace professional judgement, statutory filing on the government portals, or your own review of every return.
Features marked “soon” are not yet available and may change.
03Accounts and security
You are responsible for activity under your firm’s account, for keeping credentials confidential, and for assigning appropriate roles to your staff and clients. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
04Your data
You own the client and firm data you put into the Service. You are responsible for having the right to process that data, including any consent from your clients, and for the accuracy of what you enter.
We process data only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
05Email sent from your mailbox
Where you connect your firm mailbox to send requests to clients, messages are sent through your own mail server using your credentials. You are responsible for the content, for sending only to people you have a professional relationship with, and for complying with applicable anti-spam and communications laws.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to access other firms’ data, no interference with the platform’s security or availability, and no uploading of malicious files.
07Fees and trials
Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. Trial accounts may have limits. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; changes do not affect a period already paid for.
08Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.
09Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, missed statutory deadlines, penalties or interest arising from filings, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
10Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at the location specified in your order form or, failing that, the location of our registered office.
